Rizo is a statement.

You believe in Rizo?

Rizo didn’t start with some perfect mission. I started it because I wanted to prove something to myself. I needed something I could offer people, and I wanted to see if I could build it.

Then people started holding me accountable. A print peeled. Somebody was disappointed. I made bad choices. I learned. Somebody would support me harder than I expected and I’d want to surprise them with something extra.

Somewhere in there, the reason changed. What started as me trying to get value from people turned into me trying to give value back. Rizo became my passion without me deciding it would.

Rizo is like a child you raise, but somehow end up getting raised by.

The first drawing

It started with death and fire.

The first Rizo face came from combining death and fire. I wanted death to feel more palatable. Something people used to acknowledge and even celebrate. Fire was the other half because humans grew with it. We cook with it, build with it, gather around it, survive because of it.

I put them together. Then I made the face cute.

If Rizo gets big

The small conversations matter.

I want Rizo to grow. I just don’t want to grow disconnected from my own brand. The trust matters. Knowing the people matters.

If people can support me, I want Rizo to be able to support them back.

The Circle

The people who carried it.

Everybody who has touched Rizo left a little bit of themselves in it.

The Circle is for the people who showed up, put in the work and deserve the credit.
