Pittsburgh, the way we see it.

Why 412

I thought 412 was corny.

I thought the dads would love it. I wanted to take something everybody already knew and make it cool. Artistic, symbolic, unmistakably Pittsburgh.

Then people started reacting to it differently than I expected. They got excited. They complimented it. They wore it. By the second year, 412 had grown on me too.

I never changed it. I just started seeing what everybody else saw in it.

412 / Pittsburgh

Proud to come from here.

I grew up not liking Pittsburgh. I wasn’t proud to be from here. Now, at 26, I’m proud to come from Pittsburgh, proud to represent the black and gold, and proud to try to be a spark for my city.

Anyone who knows what those numbers mean can make it their own.
